ZenR Notes offers a quick, simple and secure solution for taking notes. The application works on Windows 8 and 10 and it doesn't ask for any special tools or services. It comes as a single file, in a ZIP archive, so you don't have to go through an installation process. All you have to do is extract the executable and run it.

You can create a new note right away by simply clicking a button. The note editor is clean and simple, so you don't have to spend any time learning its options. You can type or paste your text, attach images, change font settings and more. Alternatively, you can just drag and drop a text file over the main interface.

A particularly useful feature is the possibility of password-protecting your notes. It is also possible to restrict access to all your notes, by password-protecting the application itself. What's more, ZenR Notes is capable of encrypting your notes, using the 256-bit AES encryption algorithm.

Another useful feature is ZenR Notes's built-in reminder. The application lets you set up a reminder for any existing notes. All you have to do is select a note, click a button and specify when you wish to be reminded.
